Operating on the fringes

World-renowned innovator, Packaworld, creators of inflatable sports equipment was looking for a new customer proposition to help drive its global ambitions, in the face of an increasing number of cut-price imitators.

Foundational worked closely with founder Pete Roberts to uncover insights from the existing customer base as to what was the true magic of Packaworld’s products - the ability to play for real in places where sports infrastructure may be to expensive or difficult to install, typically on the fringes of major centres or within groups who simply lack the means.

A powerful new Purpose

Inspired by these insights, a brand new Purpose was created - To make the joy of sport real to more people - which spoke directly to a powerful cause, one that would help improve the lives of individuals and whole communities previously shut out from experiencing the feeling of playing a game for real can bring.
